Tim & Jan Fielder, Val & Bob Buckland, Chris & Bob Yates and Wendy and Mike Durant are to be congratulated on running the very successful show . They all worked so hard, the sun shone all day ( I have a face like a beetroot to prove it). The home made refreshments were so delicious, they sold out. Everyone including dogs seemed happy and relaxed enjoying the day. Jackie Green judged the prdigree classes and awarded BIS to a young Boxer, RBIS went to an American Cocker and BPIS to Dave Cramer\\\\\\\'s Affi. A lovely Greyhound won Best veteran. In the special classes judged by Wendy Durant, Marcelle King won Best Afghan with her Terry and also the photo shoot at Davids. Best rescue was a hotly contested class and the winner was a Greyhound called Nipper who has only been with Alan for 6 weeks but has already formed a great bond with him.
It was great to see Julia ( Aqua ) and her son from Devon with two of her gorgeous dogs, Ria was looking very beautiful. Prizzy and Bob came all the way from Suffolk with their dogs. It was a lovely day, my sincere thanks to everyone who helped out, donated prizes and came along to support it. A magnificent total of £659.27 was raised for Afghan Rescue. Shirley Carr
