It appears that there is only ever one smooth coated afghan in a litter
We understand there have been 3 smooth pups born in Holland (Dutch & US breeding), 1 born in one of Molly Sharpes litters - Chaman (UK) from an early import, some in California, Germany, Austria, France & possibly 3 in Australia
French President G. Pompidou who was presented with 2 smooth afghans from the Royal Kennels had a litter from these - all the pups were smooth
